In this chapter, we will introduce a project and security objective to do with automated security to work on in the coming chapters. We will also further explore the considerations that need to be made when it comes to security and automation framework selection. Some tools are good for specific security testing but may have shortcomings when it comes to automation framework integration. Finally, we will set up all the necessary environments for the coming security automation practices.
