With Oracle Autonomous Database, you have the option to create a mirror copy of your primary Autonomous Database either locally or cross-region using AuDG. This is fully automated, wherein you just have to enable the option against your Autonomous Database instance and as the name sounds, under the hood, a standby copy of your primary Autonomous Database is automatically created with the needed settings for failover or switchover with zero manual intervention. This feature is available with Autonomous Database – for Shared, Dedicated, and Exadata C@C deployment options.
