Summary

In this chapter, we have explored the DNS services available on OPNsense. Now, you can configure both core services—Unbound and Dnsmasq—or an added one by installing plugins such as dnscrypt-proxy or BIND. We also learned how DDNS could be enabled and configured to enable external access to OPNsense’s services and management. In the next chapter, we will stay on the services track and learn how to integrate them.
