Power BI can generate alerts when data exceeds the thresholds that you have defined. Alerts appear in a user's notification area and the alert can also be sent by email. You can use Power Automate to perform additional actions over and above email when an alert has been triggered.
Clicking on Manage alerts on a KPI, card, or gauge visual opens the Manage alerts pane as shown in the next image. There is a link at the bottom of the Manage alerts window, which, when clicked, will launch Power Automate:
Clicking on Use Microsoft Power Automate to trigger additional actions will launch a Power Automate flow that uses the Power BI alert template, as shown here:
