Azure AD B2C
A year ago, my wife and I decided to lose some weight and made it interesting by having a little competition as to who could lose the most weight in 3 months. One day when I came home from work, my wife had purchased edible cookie dough and placed it in the fridge—a delight I didn’t even know existed, and it was glorious. Obviously, this was an act of sabotage, but I didn’t care. I ate it all and then rushed to my computer to find the website to buy more. The website had several account options:
- Sign in with Facebook.
- Sign in with Google.
- Sign in with an Amazon account.
- Sign in with a Microsoft account.
- Create a new account.
If you think back to Azure AD B2B, it was designed to enable users from other organizations to collaborate with your organization, to avoid them from having to maintain a separate account. In the consumer world, my cookie dough experience is very common. Consumers don’t want to create separate accounts for every website...
