GNOME edition and settings
The last official release is GNOME. It is also an old and mature system that’s been in development since 1997. The community initially wanted to avoid the Qt libraries, but they support it now. The Manjaro GNOME release we will look at is 23.0.0, while the GNOME version is 44.1. Though some screenshots are from Manjaro 21.3.7, all descriptions have been checked with GNOME 44.1.
GNOME is a modern-looking graphical environment. Before we start, if you remember Manjaro Hello and have already disabled its launch at startup, when you open it for GNOME, it will feature an additional button called GNOME Layout Switcher. Clicking it will provide you with four options for the layouts of the graphical environment: Manjaro, Traditional, Tiling, and GNOME.
