Managing meetings—be the chair!
When we create a meeting, we automatically become the chair. As the chair, there will be times when we need to check if people are attending, notify invitees, reschedule or cancel meetings. Managing meetings can be time-consuming, so take advantage of the tools we are going to see in this section to make that process more streamlined.
Checking if invitees are attending: View Invitee Status
It is important to know if our invitees are able to attend our meeting. We will have received their response in our inbox but sometimes we can miss these. I often view the responses from my invitees using the View Invitee Status and then use the Print button in that window and take the list to my meeting and use it as a sort of roll call. I believe there are two steps to a successful meeting—one is people responding to your invite, and second is their turning up!
