Understanding Microsoft Teams templates
Microsoft Teams templates are predefined teams created with specific business needs in mind that help to standardize team structures, making the relevant channels and applications immediately available to the end user without the need to custom-build the team multiple times.
When creating a new team, you have the opportunity to choose from the various templates provided by Microsoft covering multiple vertical sectors, or from the ones created by the administrator of Microsoft Teams in your organization.
If the Teams templates have not been modified by your administrator by default, then you will have access to a list of 13 templates, each one of them with several channels and default apps installed.
