In this chapter, we looked at the group of DAX functions used to help us calculate statistical data. We started with a look at the complete list of the functions in this group, along with a brief description of each. We then moved on to look in more detail at some of the more commonly used functions in this group.
We looked at those functions that can be used to calculate averages, percentiles, and to rank our data, all while working through some examples of each function being used. We rounded off this chapter by taking a brief look at those functions that can be used to calculate standard deviation and variance.
In the next chapter, we will move beyond the different groups of DAX functions and take a look at some examples of DAX patterns.
