What is custom duty/charge?

Customs duty are charges levied on goods when they cross international borders. It is a tax that is imposed on imported goods. These duties are charged by special authorities and bodies created by local governments and are meant to protect local industries, economies, and businesses.

Do I have to pay customs charges for the print book order?

The orders shipped to the countries that are listed under EU27 will not bear custom charges. They are paid by Packt as part of the order.

A custom duty or localized taxes may be applicable on the shipment and would be charged by the recipient country outside of the EU27 which should be paid by the customer and these duties are not included in the shipping charges been charged on the order.

How do I know my custom duty charges?

The amount of duty payable varies greatly depending on the imported goods, the country of origin and several other factors like the total invoice amount or dimensions like weight, and other such criteria applicable in your country.

For example:

If you live in Mexico, and the declared value of your ordered items is over $ 50, for you to receive a package, you will have to pay additional import tax of 19% which will be $ 9.50 to the courier service.
Whereas if you live in Turkey, and the declared value of your ordered items is over € 22, for you to receive a package, you will have to pay additional import tax of 18% which will be € 3.96 to the courier service.

How can I cancel my order?

You can cancel any order within 1 hour of placing the order. Simply contact customercare@packt.com with your order details or payment transaction id. If your order has already started the shipment process, we will do our best to stop it. Return Policy:

I used this book along with the included practice exams and flashcards and passed the exam on the first attempt. It gives plenty of instances for review questions at the end of each chapter and is thorough in explaining all of the topics covered by CompTIA. I used StormWinds training along with this book and it was almost verbatim so everything lined up very well and helped to reinforce the information.

This book really helped me pass the Security+ exam, even though English is my second language. It explained difficult topics in a simple way, which made them easier to understand. I liked the real-world examples and practice questions that helped me learn better. This book was the key to the cryptic puzzle that is CompTIA Sec+. It's concise explanations of the concepts made everything super straightforward and easy to comprehend. The one thing that helped the most was the mock exams provided online and end of chapter review questions both provided with purchase of this book. They both were written to closely match the exam perfectly preparing you when test day comes. Without this book I wouldn't have been able to pass let alone score above 800 on this exam, thank you!

Hello I don't usually write reviews on Amazon but this product is fantastic for getting ready for the sec+ class.in just two weeks of hard studying I was able to get a 802 on the class thanks to the help of this book I have both the physical and kindle release and found both easy to navigate and phenomenal to study with. The practice tests are quite close to what appears on the test and Ian Neil is somebody who clearly understands how to pass this course.TLDR: if you want to pass sec + I would heavily recommend this book as reading material.
