Scheduling Data Pipelines in ADF or Synapse
Scheduling pipelines refers to the process of defining when and how a pipeline needs to be started. The process is the same for ADF and Synapse pipelines. ADF and Azure Synapse pipelines offer robust scheduling capabilities, crucial for automating and orchestrating data workflows. By defining schedules, pipelines execute at specific intervals or times, guaranteeing timely data processing and seamless integration tasks.

In order to schedule pipelines, ADF and Synapse pipelines have a button named Add trigger in the Pipelines (Figure 7.11):
