What is a block pattern?
To put it simply, a block pattern is a collection of blocks. These blocks can have their own styles joined together and be shared, synced, and reused across themes.
Here, you can see an example of a pattern, which shows how useful they can be in providing the complete design piece you are looking for in your theme:

A benefit of patterns is that they are just blocks with self-contained styled. Patterns are by their nature portable, because of this approach to styling. They can be copied and pasted easily. This means you can even copy one from the pattern directory, which we will discover a little later and use it right in your own content.
