Summary
To summarize, this chapter has touched on all of the remaining roles with Configuration Manager, some of which are used frequently and some of which are not. The out of band service point was deprecated in the current branch of Configuration Manager, but many organizations will still use the technology and will need to troubleshoot the roles. Also, as mentioned, the Windows Intune connector was removed and its functionality was integrated into the service connection point. Some roles are covered in more detail than others, but each one should give us some pointers and places to investigate where and what to troubleshoot. Unfortunately, it is always going to be difficult to cover every single error message for every single role, but hopefully as we went through the roles, the path to a resolution should have become apparent.
