Summary
This chapter was all about adding interior details to a model. We learned how to set up imported AutoCAD elevations and build intricate interior architectural elements by tracing the elevations. We also took a deep dive into 3D Warehouse, imported a round ottoman to the practice model, and learned about Live Components.
In the next chapter, we will use SketchUp’s built-in tools to model a coffee table, an armchair, and a decorative tray. Plus, we will share some of our favorite extensions for modeling furniture.
