Accessing your site editor
That’s enough about the theory – let’s get started with building your header. To begin, you’ll need to navigate to the site template you set up in the previous chapter. You can do this by going to squarespace.com/login. Once you select your site from your account, you’ll land at your site editor, which looks like Figure 4.2:

On the left side of your site, you’ll see the home menu, which includes several options. Here’s a list of what you’ll see and what they mean:
- Pages: The Pages panel is where you will create and edit the pages that form your website, arrange your navigation, and organize your site map
- Design: Use the Design panel to edit site styles, such as fonts, colors, buttons, and spacing
- Commerce: If your site includes an online store, you will build your shop, fulfill orders, and manage customers...
