Creating a Squarespace account

Creating your Squarespace account will feel familiar if you’ve ever signed up for an online service. Armed with your prep work, navigate to squarespace.com to get started. Squarespace will give you many ways to sign up. You can use the GET STARTED call to action found in the top right-hand corner to navigate to the signup page, or any other GET STARTED button on the home page.

Here is a view of the Squarespace home page. You’ll find two options to get started with creating an account, both labeled as Get Started:

It feels a bit counterintuitive, but before you create a Squarespace login and set up your account, you’ll need to first choose a template. Select any GETTING STARTED button to begin the template selection process.
