Part 1: Introduction to Penetration Testing and PowerShell

This section introduces you to the basic elements of a penetration test. This section also introduces PowerShell as a cross-platform scripting engine and the basic principles of scripting in PowerShell. It also shows how JSON. XML modules/functions can be installed and used on multiple heterogeneous platforms. Within this module, you will conduct a series of simple scripting exercises to aid in developing an understanding of how to use/apply PowerShell. In this book, we will use PowerShell 7.
