Printed reports versus online reports
An attention point that I would like to mention in this section is that there can be a big difference in what you see and experience when you print an enhanced report on screen and what you see, and expect, when you actually print it on paper or export it to Excelor Pdf.
When you run a report in the report viewer then it is fully functional. What I mean by this is that all interactive features the report contains are available to the end user. An enhanced report can for example contain hyperlink actions, expand/collapse functionality, drilldown(s), and so on. When the user decides to print the report on paper of course that interactivity is lost. If the main usage of a report is to print it, like for example document reports usually are, then don't spend much time adding interactivity to the report, because it will almost never be used and so will not have a very good return on investment.
Tip
Don't enhance too much
From personal experience I have seen it...
