Creating and Managing Session Host Images
In this chapter, we will look at creating a custom image that we can use with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and some of the customization, updates, and publishing capabilities that are available in the Azure Compute Gallery (ACG). It is important to note that images for AVD are one of its core components as this is what the user will access. It’s important to ensure that you configure and optimize them correctly so that you provide a good user experience. We will also take a look at troubleshooting some OS issues related to AVD.
