Tweaking the Global Illumination effect
When working with interior scenes, we may have a good proportion of light that comes from the windows in the room or other areas in the building; however, the light is not reflected back to the ceiling and other elements in the scene. Lumion has an effect that can help us add more light to our scene without using additional lights. Let's see how we can use the Global Illumination effect with interior renders.
Getting ready
To follow this recipe, we need an interior scene with some windows and at least one spotlight. For the first half of the recipe, we will use a daytime scene and then change it to a nighttime scene. We are going to use the Photo mode to exemplify the effects, but the same principles and effects can be used with the Movie mode.
