Summary
In this chapter, you implemented a widget for your JRNL project that displays your journal entries.
First, you added a widget extension to your app. Next, you configured the widget to get a list of journal entries from the SharedData class, and configured its appearance on the Lock screen. Finally, you added the widget to both your Home and Lock screens.
You now know how to create and configure a widget, and you’ll be able to implement it for your own apps so your users will be able see relevant content without having to launch the app itself.
