Summary
In this chapter, you implemented a Lock screen widget for your LetsEat
project that shows you the restaurants from a specific location.
First, you added a widget extension to your app. Next, you configured the widget to get restaurant information from the MapDataManager
class, and configured how it looks using SwiftUI. Finally, you added the widget to your Lock screen.
You now know how to create and configure a Lock screen widget, and you’ll be able to implement it for your own apps.
In the next chapter, you’ll learn about WeatherKit, a great way to access and display weather information for your apps.
