Template organizer


Templates fast track the creation of standard-type documents. We can create our own templates or download them from the Symphony website. Alternatively, we can import the templates that we may already have.

Within Lotus Notes there is a Template Organizer where, as the name implies, we can organize our templates! The Template Organizer works with libraries that are designated folders on our local file system containing template files we can import into the Template Organizer. By default, there are some presentation templates supplied, which reside in the Default Template Library.

To view the options of the Template Organizer, we can refer to the following screenshot and perform the steps listed next:

  1. Click File | Template Organizer | Launch.

  2. Click to import a template library to the template organizer. Enter the name and the path of the library in New Template Library window.

  3. If we want to use a template, we need to select the library it belongs to and then select a template...
