Supercategories
When analyzing sentences and sentiment, it is usually advantageous to organize the comments into different categories called “supercategories.” The typical supercategories usually include:
- Person
- Place
- Product
- Price
- Promotion
- Process
- Company
- Ambience
The usual way to determine which supercategory a statement belongs in is by examining and classifying the predicate. The reason why we classify into supercategories is to aid analysis.
