Summary

In this chapter, we covered some different topics about building an API: from the soft deletion of our resources to how to measure the performance of responses. We also had an overview of the asynchronous programming stack of ASP.NET Core and some recommendations as to how to use it. The topics covered in this chapter will be helpful to you at an advanced development stage in order to improve the readability of the returned data and the performance of the web service.
