Setting Up a Personal Blynk Server

This chapter shows you how to install and configure a personal Blynk server on Raspberry Pi.

With this architecture, you can directly connect your hardware (that is, your Raspberry Pi) to the machine running the Blynk server through a network (whether an intranet or the internet) without using a third-party Blynk cloud.

In this chapter, you will learn about the following:

Installing Java on Raspberry Pi
Installing a Blynk personal server on Raspberry Pi
Configuring the server
Creating a Blynk app to connect with a personal Blynk server
