Turning On Scientific Mode
Welcome to the third section of the book. One of my favorite video game franchises is Sid Meier’s Civilization. It takes many days to complete a single game, which starts you off as the head of a civilization at the dawn of history. You progress through prehistoric eras, through medieval, renaissance, and industrial areas. With each new age comes unique challenges as players vie for various facets of global domination. The game truly speeds up once the players reach the information age. I can just hear my editor saying, “Put down the video game, and type faster!” OK, I will. Talking about the book, I feel like we’ve reached a similar milestone with this chapter. We’ve come a long way since our hello world message in main.py
back in the first few chapters of this book.
