In this chapter, we will review the healthcare company case study. This is the second case study out of three case studies in this book. Each case study reinforces the learning from the previous section. In this case study, we will continue to witness Peopledrift Healthcare’s journey to enhance the FinOps team’s capabilities and achieve the goals of the Optimize phase.

Now, it’s been more than a year since Peopledrift Healthcare strategically adopted the Microsoft Azure cloud and migrated the majority of their on-prem workload and transformed the entire organization according to a cloud-first model.
