Lessons learned from Snow in the Desert
Snow in the Desert is a fictitious global tour and travel company that we are going to have as a point of reference to get this contextualized viewpoint. We are using Snow in the Desert as a case study for reinforcement of our learning throughout this book. The nature of Agile software development is not prescriptive. Since it is guided, and principle- and practice-driven, there are many ways to embrace and implement Agile engineering concepts. The organization's context mostly determines adoption, and therefore it is hard to have a generic opinionated view.
In this chapter, we are introducing Snow in the Desert and the way Agile architecture is adopted to accomplish organization agility.
