Part 3: Geospatial Modeling Case Studies

In Part 3 of this book, you’ll be exposed to a number of different modeling topics and apply those directly to several case studies. The modeling topics focus on clustering, regionalization, regression, and optimization problem types. Throughout this section, you’ll be provided with hands-on coding exercises to solidify your learning. These coding exercises can be leveraged throughout your journey as a spatial data scientist, as they can be adapted and expounded upon to solve problems across industries. The last chapter of this book focuses on more advanced topics such as spatial interpolation, spatial indexing, and ethics in spatial data science.
