Modifying an RDS application pool in Horizon View
This recipe will discuss the steps that are required to modify the configuration of an existing Horizon View application pool. Limited options exist at the application pool level, as settings that impact the client connections are edited at the farm level, as described in the Modifying an RDS farm or server in Horizon View recipe that follows next.
Getting ready
These tasks are performed using the Horizon View Manager Admin console, assuming that there are existing application pools that require modification.
How to do it…
The following steps outline the procedure used to modify a RDS application pool. Note that each individual application in Horizon View is considered an application pool and, as is the case with desktop pools, they are managed independently of one another. Perform the following steps:
