In this chapter, we dealt with DR in Configuration Manager. We discussed the importance of planning for DR and how to create the DRP. Don't forget to update the information in the plan as your infrastructure changes. We explained that there are two backup methods available to you and recommended that you implement a solution using SQL backup.
Let's hope that you don't have to recover a Configuration Manager site any time soon but we described some scenarios that you could encounter and how you should restore the site and additional required items.
The recovery of site systems that are configured to communicate via HTTPS is outside the scope of this book. However, it should be noted that you must reconfigure IIS to use the web server certificate after you recover these systems.
