Gerben Krehwinkel is the IT director of the Dutch Treant group. This group operates hospitals and care homes in the northern part of the Netherlands. One crucial observation that Gerben made was that IT and the medical staff of the group didn’t speak the same language – they came from different planets. “We provided iPads for patient monitoring to nurses, but they were all sent back to IT.
