Using Proximity Join to attend Teams meetings

Proximity Join allows you to connect to a Teams meeting room from your phone or other device by utilizing Bluetooth. Ad hoc, spontaneous meetings account for most interactions between coworkers. Proximity Join enables you to find and join nearby available Microsoft Teams rooms. This can be beneficial for any ad hoc meetings and adding a nearby meeting room that is free and available.

Let's check out Proximity Join in a few steps. To start testing Proximity Join, I have opened the Teams client on my Android device. I've then navigated to Calendar and initiated one meeting by clicking on Join.

The moment we click on Join, we are prompted with the following screen in the Android client. You will notice that there is a small arrow right next to Join now. Click on this drop-down arrow.
