Settings for Projects
In this section, we'll look at the key settings needed to help us get the most out of using Projects in QuickBooks Online. This will include settings to track expenses by a customer/project and enabling the Progress Invoicing feature if we need to raise multiple invoices against a single estimate.
To begin with, let's check that the Projects feature itself has been enabled.
Enabling Projects
The Projects feature is usually enabled by default within QuickBooks Online and is accessed from the Left Navigation panel. If a Plus subscription is in place, and Projects is not immediately visible, the feature can be enabled within the Advanced area of Account and settings.
Tip
Clicking on your company name that is displayed when viewing the Dashboard will take you directly into Account and settings.
