Chapter 15. Implementing JIRA Service Desk

In this chapter, we will learn how to implement a JIRA Service Desk application for taking care of IT help desks and support requests that is not only easy to use, but comes with the preconfigured features of a ticketing system out of the box. All the support tickets are tracked using a JIRA project, but, it comes with a customer portal that makes it really easy to raise requests. Also, JIRA Service Desk can be integrated with Confluence and users can easily search for related issues while raising new tickets.
