Summary
In this chapter, we learned about the main components of a figure from the Plots
package. Then, we briefly extended that description to Makie and Gadfly
figures. The knowledge we’ve acquired in this chapter will help us when we look for attributes to customize those elements. We also gained an idea about the place that the layout takes in Plots
and Makie figures.
We will describe the layout capabilities of those packages in more detail in the next chapter.
