Rendering calendars
What would a graphics package be without the option of rendering pretty calendars to print and keep at home or at the office? This recipe will show us how to generate a calendar using the Calendar extension.
How to do it...
Carry out the following steps to create a fancy looking calendar:
1. Open the Calendar dialog by going to Extensions | Render | Calendar....
2. Under the Colors tab set Year color to
#0000ffand Weekend day color to#d40000.3. Leave the other options as default and press Apply. The calendar will be rendered near the top of the page. Here is what the first three months look like:
