Networks within OT environments can be some of the most insecure components within an organization. Cabling runs from one control box to another control box, providing a backbone of communication for machines and operations. However, sometimes, little thought is given to securing that network or ensuring that communication is managed effectively. This is not always the case, and if your organization has embarked on locking down OT networks, then you are ahead in the game.
