Clientless VPN
Clientless VPN is a setting that enables the Prisma access portal to serve applications via a web interface. On the frontend, the users will be served a set of clickable tiles that represent web applications they can access without the need for a GlobalProtect agent or proxy configuration. In the backend the portal will serve as a client to communicate with the destination server and collect the web content to display this information to the user as a reverse proxy.
Let’s take a look at setting up clientless VPN in Strata Cloud Manager:
To configure clientless VPN, navigate to Workflows | Prisma Access Setup | GlobalProtect | Clientless VPN. From here, we need to create new applications to represent the page we want to be made available through the portal:
