Throughout this chapter, we have learned each and every aspect of the player character's settings, whether we are following the 2D or 3D path.
Knowing how our character works is the main step toward being able to change any aspect of it as we need, and with this, to create different gameplay than that which is provided by the Game Kits.
We learned which component is in charge of the player movements, and looked at its variables. We also examined the components that allow the player to interact with their character, to move, jump, and attack, and even to pause the game. In addition to this, we learned about both the components that manage the character life, as well as the damage that can be caused to it.
On top of this, we have gone through a new concept, which are what we call events: behaviors that happen as a reaction to certain situations.
