Using the Learning Manager mobile app

In the previous section, you logged in as Learner 01 to your Learning Manager account using your web browser. However, a growing number of learners want to take courses using their mobile devices, which raises a whole new set of challenges:

• The screen of a mobile device is typically much smaller than the screen of a laptop or desktop computer, which implies the creation of a specific user experience.
• Interacting with fingers on a touchscreen is very different from using a mouse on a desktop or laptop computer, so interactions need to be redesigned for touch.
• The quality and stability of the network and the available bandwidth are not guaranteed on a mobile device. Users can be connected to a fast and reliable Wi-Fi network, as well as to a slow and unpredictable 3G connection.
