With a general understanding of how to license Power Virtual Agents (PVA), as we saw in the previous chapter, we are finally ready to get to the meat of the PVA build and see how we can build our first PVA.

But before we delve right into it, we will first look at how to set up a sandbox environment for us to work in; this will be our playground for the rest of this book.

This chapter will focus on the following topics:

• Completing the initial setup
• Knowing your environment
• Creating a Power Virtual Agent
• Publishing a Power Virtual Agent

At the end of this chapter, we will have built our first PVA. While this will be the most simplistic scenario, this is the base we will be building upon in the following chapters.
