Creating a Landscape Material
In this practical section, we will learn how to create a Landscape Material. The Material creation process is the same as we learned about in Chapter 5. To easily follow this section, it is very important to understand all the steps we have learned about to create a surface Master Material. In this section, we will refer to different nodes we have already learned about in Chapter 5 without re-explaining them.
Before we start creating our first Landscape Material, we need to know that Unreal Engine 5 has specific nodes inside the Material Editor dedicated to Landscapes. To find them, you simply need to search for them by typing landscape
in the right-click menu inside the Material Editor Viewport.
