Configuring Hyper-V Replica between three Hyper-V hosts using HTTP authentication


Hyper-V Replica introduces the ability to replicate a virtual machine asynchronously to a secondary Hyper-V host, such as a remote disaster recovery site server, using a single network connection.

In Windows Server 2012 R2, Microsoft introduced extended replication that makes it possible for multiple copies of data to be protected from different outage scenarios.

With Hyper-V Extend Replication feature, you can have multiple copies of your data to protect them from different outage scenarios. For example, you might choose to keep the second DR site in the same campus or in the same city while you want to keep the third copy of data across continents to give added protection for your workloads.

In Windows Server 2012, the replication for virtual machines was preset at 5minutes' replication frequency only. However, in Windows Server 2012 R2, Microsoft enhanced Hyper-V Replica and you can now asynchronously replicate...
