The administration manager (Spotfire Analyst clients only) is a tool that's available only to Spotfire administrators, to control how each Spotfire user uses the system and its components. It is accessed through the Tools menu. The number of Spotfire administrators in an organization is normally very small. This section is included to give you some sense of how Spotfire is administered at an enterprise level.
Basic user administration is also available via Spotfire's web-based administration console. The steps and principles shown here are broadly similar, regardless of whether you are using the administration console or the tools in Spotfire Analyst.
