Adding artwork
Adding images and text to the lid of our box will enhance the overall appearance and could also be a useful feature to identify whose box it is, or what’s inside it. As learned in Chapters 5 and 8, there are a lot of different ways that we can enhance our project using text and imported images.
Adding text features
The first thing we are going to look at are the text features that can be used to label and personalize the lid of our box:
- As learned in Chapter 5, there are a few shapes that can be used to create text in our projects. For my box, I’ve chosen to use the script text shape, as shown in Figure 16.16:

- After adjusting the parameters for the text shape to label your box as desired, you can reposition the text shape so that it is on the surface of the lid, as shown in Figure 16.17:
