The Salesforce CRM offers a few different editions: Professional Edition (PE), Enterprise Edition (EE), and Unlimited Edition (UE). While the latter two editions are equipped with robust functionalities, the focus of this section is on PE, which is often used by smaller businesses. It’s important to note that the functionalities and features discussed prior in this context apply by default to EE and UE.
Understanding the differences between these editions is crucial when selling your app to existing Salesforce customers, as it influences the design and functionality of your app. Salesforce editions can be grouped into two clusters for ease of understanding: PE and EE/UE.
