Setting up the environment
We are going to walk through how to build the exact environment we’ll be using in this chapter. Even though we will be building on the Nautobot and Ansible installations from previous chapters, each step is provided again as a summary, just in case you want a fresh installation. It will also serve as a reference on your Nautobot journey.
Network topology
The network topology is the one area where we will not provide instructions on how to build a lab. We realize some people may prefer containerlab, netlab, Cisco Modeling Labs, GNS3, or just general virtual or physical devices.
However, let’s review the network topology that we’ll be automating.
