Creating and Managing Conference Bridges

In today’s remote and hybrid work environments, providing reliable and accessible audio-conferencing options is essential for effective communication. Conference bridges allow participants to join meetings via a phone call, ensuring inclusivity for those without stable internet connections or access to Teams clients.

To use Audio Conferencing in Microsoft Teams, you will first need to be licensed appropriately. Audio conferencing is available as an add-on subscription and included in E5 subscriptions.

To buy the add-on (if you do not have an E5 subscription), you will need to go to the Microsoft 365 admin center at https://admin.microsoft.com. From here, choose Billing | Purchase services. Then, follow these steps to purchase the add-on:

1. Search for audio.
2. Scroll to the bottom in the Add-ons section and select Microsoft 365 Audio Conferencing.
3. Complete the purchase for the number of users needed.
